Covid Peer Support Study

First the NeurOX YPAG were involved in a consultation process with young people from another charity, The McPin Foundation. This kick started the ideas for the Study in March 2020 when the first lockdown was announced.

One of the young people, Ellie, who was involved from McPin wrote a blog about her experience of working on the study.

Young people described what it meant to be participants in the study (they called themselves ‘Uplifters’) and of peer support training for an Instagram campaign. This gave them an opportunity to tell others about the experience and what it meant to them.  Visit #uplifttomorrow.
